James,

Glad to see the SSL certificate offering expanded. However, it would be nice to see some competition in the SSL space, as these three brands are all owned by Verisign -- a company for which I have little respect. (Surely people remember things like domain slamming, hijacking all un-registered domains, etc. And their motto is, or was, "The Value of Trust"!) As it is, I've been reselling RapidSSL certificates for several years. Sadly they too were ultimately acquired by Verisign, but the lack of competition in this market makes it difficult to avoid Verisign.

I'll continue to resell RapidSSL certificates, rather than taking advantage of the OpenSRS portfolio, because I just don't see the value in paying 2-3 times the cost of a RapidSSL certificate for something else. I'm not usually in the cheap crowd -- if I was I wouldn't be a reseller of OpenSRS domains -- but I am when it comes to SSL certificates. Sorry for that.
